1. Aims and Objectives for Fundraising ▼
- Support Hospital Play, Support Sick Children!
Anxiety, nervousness and loneliness are always the feelings among the sick children in pediatric wards during their journey of recovery with medical treatments. Be children in hospitals, they have the right to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to their age, to rebuild their resilience against their illnesses and to enjoy the funny play time.

- Experienced in Hospital Play Service in 30 years, Playright not only provide with play services in public hospitals, we also specially plan and organize “Playful Bear Hospital” for getting families to understand and experience the hospital play outside wards. Through the play day, children will be empathizing and caring others. They will think of making donations to support sick children to enjoy play opportunities in wards.
2. What does Hospital Play look like? ▼
- We all welcome children to bring along their plush toys to experience various kinds of hospital play services and get to understand how play can build the resilience against illnesses that the sick children experienced. At hope, we will have more donations to help sick children in hospital to be benefited from the play opportunities in their recovery journey.
- Bring along your lovely plush doll and start experiencing the procedural play like the blood drawing and the intravenous catheter procedure.
- Upon the health condition of the lovely plush doll, he/she will be arranged to next medial procedural play like MRI check-up.
- With yet-discovered materials in dailies and imagination naturally flowing in head, the noises and sounds from the MRI medical equipment are created by our Hospital Play Specialists for experience.
- A kid’s version of MRI will also be set up for children’s choice.
- For suturing the wound after surgery, children can start stitch by stitch with calmness, concentration and appropriate eye-hand coordination skill.
- The flexible folded pipes are prepared for free choices of combination among children to form the transmission pipelines for transferring the accessories like blood-shaped red balls, pills, colourful plastics balls and bells.
- Put the medical play tools in use to recognize different steps of cast removal from sawing, spreading and cutting.
- Wearing a paper casting, children will experience the peculiar state of walking, moving, striking a balance, and even crossing obstacles under the cast
- Props and costumes are available for choice. Children can do their role-play as a houseman, nurse or ambulance officer for driving the ambulance for sending the patient bear to hospital.
- Abundant supplies of various arts and crafts materials for creating sensory bottles with lighting and sound or an art piece with different mix-and-match texture.
3. Payment Method ▼
- Online enrollment: only Visa/Master Card accepted via Paypal
4. Is there any quota for enrollment and any enrollment deadline? ▼
- 50 families per session, a total of 3 sessions per event day. Limited quota while stock lasts.
5. How do we confirm the successful enrollment? ▼
- Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email on the same day for registration. [Special Note: Please be invited to check your email for the registration confirmation and get alert that the email may be sent to your junk mailbox.]
- If you do not receive any registration confirmation email after one working day for your registration, please email to registration@playright.org.hk for further enquiries.
6. Will there be any walk-in enrollment? ▼
- Yes, the quota for the walk-in enrollment is dependent upon the attendance of the participants with the pre-booking confirmation. It is advised to enroll online in the designated period before event date to ensure the successful participation.
7. Will there be any additional session for the fundraising event? ▼
- Please follow our updates on Facebook, IG and webpages for the latest announcement for further news of the fundraising event.
8. Do we have the donation receipt? ▼
- No donation receipt is/ will be issued for this fundraising activity. The Playright Children’s Play Association is a registered charity in Hong Kong. Your donation will be used to support Playright Hospital Play Service and the sick children in play during their journey of recovery.
9. Do we accept direct donation? ▼
- Yes, it is always welcome! We encouraged any hearty donation to support play in hospital for sick children.
- Only HK$180 cash donation made per month, a sick child will be benefit from the hospital play during his/her hospitalization.
